1 Able to clear the arrears of social security pensions

2 The monthly pension of agricultural workers, fisheries, coir, cashew, handloom, reed, beedi, artisan, building construction, etc is increased to Rs.200/month.

3 Workers involved in Clam collection would be given membership in Fisherman Welfare Fund Board and pension will be sanctioned.

4 A health insurance scheme for all families below the poverty line, as approved by the Government of India. Rs.20 crore for this purpose.

5 Kerala Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. Rs.20 crore set apart for this purpose.

6 The mess allowance of students in Government and aided special schools will be enhanced from Rs.500 to Rs.750. The annual dress allowance is increased from Rs.500 to Rs.750. The pension for physically challenged and mentally challenged are to be enhanced from Rs. 160/- to Rs. 200/-.

7 An enhancement of Rs.50 per month to the assistance given to children in orphanages.

8 A novel scheme shall be implemented in making use of the base kitchen in Kozhikkode Medical College Hospital. It is proposed to launch a scheme offering lunch to any one in need at Rs.2 a meal.
