INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS FOR MIGRATION CERTIFICATE
1.
AS per G.O. (MS) No. 219/99 G.Edn. Dated 07/09/1999. The Higher Secondary Examination pass outs are exempted from production of migration certificates for seeking admission to higher studies in various universities inside the state. Migration Certificate is issued only to candidates who after passing the Higher Secondary Examination seek admission to higher courses outside Kerala State. The fee for Migration Certificate is Rs. 25.00. The fee is to be remitted under the Head of Account “0202-01-102-97-(03) other receipts” in any of the Government Treasuries in the state. Original chalan should be enclosed with the application for migration certificate. DD/Money order will not be accepted. Fee once remitted will not be refunded. The application for migration certificate along with chalan receipt in original should be forwarded through the Principal where the student last studied for the Higher Secondary Course. Migration Certificate will not be issued more than once. However, if the original migration certificate issued is irrecoverably lost/damaged a duplicate migration certificate will be issued. Self addressed stamped envelope for sending the migration certificate by registered post should be enclosed. Migration certificate will be issued by hand only to candidates who produce the hall ticket of the Higher Secondary Examination or reliable proof for proper identification.

The following documents are to be submitted for issue of duplicate migration certificate

[a] Application in the prescribed from for duplicate migration certificate [b] Chalan receipt for Rs. 50.00, remitted in the Head of Account detailed in para 3 above [c] A declaration by the candidate, attested by two gazatted officers, to the effect that the original migration certificate has been lost irrecoverably and that it has not been utilized for the purpose for which it was issued and that if it is recovered on or after the date of issue of duplicate migration certificate, the same will be returned to the Directorate. [d] Self addressed stamped [for registered value] envelope for sending the migration certificate by post. [e] Self attested copy of the Higher Secondary Examination Certificate [f] Chalan receipt for search fee as detailed below, remitted in the Head of Account detailed in para 3. [a] Five years after the examination – Rs.10.00
