A recent study has revealed that elder children are more selfish and less willing to cooperate with their siblings, as compared to the younger ones. Researchers from the Montpelier University in France made this
revelation.
The study also said that arrival of a younger brother or sister often causes a lot of emotional
impact on the elder children. When they find that they no longer remain the centre of attraction of their
parents, they get upset and angry and feel neglected.
